National University of Vanuatu
Brief overview
The National University of Vanuatu was established under the National University Act No. 34 of 2019. Its purpose, as outlined in Article 3, is to provide higher education advancement and lifelong learning through academic and professional excellence in training, teaching, and research, delivered in both English and French. The University is committed to fostering international cooperation and supporting national development priorities. Through its programs and partnerships, NUV aims to build local capacity, promote innovation, and contribute to the sustainable social, economic, and environmental development of Vanuatu and the wider Pacific region.
