The launch of the Abyss Vanuatu Ocean Institute and the first Vanuatu Ocean Rangers is about turning ambition into action — creating a nationally scalable taskforce to help support the implementation of the Vanuatu National Ocean Policy V2 before 2030.From protecting turtle nesting beaches and restoring reefs, to drone monitoring, pest management, local employment, marine education and community-led conservation, our focus is practical, visible and built for long-term national impact.
We are grateful to the PIFCE organisers for creating a platform where Vanuatu-led solutions can be shared, supported and scaled.
