Through these partnerships, AVOI aims to bridge world-class scientific expertise with practical, community-based implementation throughout Vanuatu. Conservation Leaders Australia AVOI is also supported by Conservation Leaders Australia, a highly respected organisation dedicated to strengthening conservation outcomes through leadership, strategy, governance and impact-driven environmental programs. Conservation Leaders Australia works with governments, NGOs, Indigenous organisations, researchers and environmental practitioners to create lasting conservation outcomes through effective leadership and collaboration. David Booth: Professor David Booth is one of Australia's most respected marine scientists and a recognised leader in marine ecology, fisheries science, climate change impacts on marine systems, coral reef ecology and marine conservation. Throughout his distinguished career, Professor Booth has contributed extensively to research, education, conservation planning and the development of evidence-based marine management strategies. His guidance provides the Abyss Vanuatu Ocean Institute with access to decades of scientific expertise and supports our commitment to ensuring that conservation initiatives are underpinned by robust science, measurable outcomes and practical application. Through collaboration with leading researchers and institutions, AVOI seeks to position Vanuatu as a regional leader in marine conservation, climate adaptation and sustainable ocean management. Kevin Fallon: Kevin is one of Australia's most highly awarded marketing executives and currently runs a Non-profit within Symbio Zoo in Sydney. Kevin has raised over extensive funding and inkind support for through donations of land, resources and technology to help him conduct a vast array of survey methodologies focusing on protected and endangered species protection. Together with our taskforce of Vanuatu Ocean Rangers and steadfast support from local communities and chief councils along the north west of efate, we are well placed to successfully deliver a successful pilot program in Havannah Harbour which will allow us to nationally scale our Vanuatu Ocean Ranger Program in AVOI satelite sites situated within each province.
