Moana transforms how spatial data is captured, shared, and used by delivering engineering-grade datasets—such as elevation models, coastal imagery, and seabed mapping—through a centralised system that integrates directly into planning workflows. 

This innovation addresses climate challenges by enabling improved understanding of risks such as flooding, coastal erosion, sea-level rise, and infrastructure vulnerability. Partnerships with government and ongoing capacity building to support local acquisition and also maintaining the digital infrastructure

How is the solution cost‑effective and affordable in the context of Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs)?

Our solution is more cost effective as we are supported by partners who are helping us provide the data at 50% of the cost of traditional aerial survey operators. We aim to have our own local sensors and planes within the next 12 months to further reduce costs and deliver capability locally
